About myselfDr. Satyavani Kaliamurthi, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D., PGDCA, PDF (Turkey, Canada, and China), is a biotechnologist specializing in data-driven human therapeutics, computational immunology (vaccine design), computer-aided drug design, nano-drug delivery systems, and natural and in vitro tissue culture product-based therapeutics. She is currently working as a Research Associate in Medical and Bioresearch at Aarupadai Veedu Medical College & Hospital (AVMC&H), Vinayaka Missions University, Puducherry, India. Her research aims to advance innovative strategies for the design and development of human therapeutics that help protect communities from emerging and re-emerging health threats. She aspires to become a recognized woman scientist contributing significantly to translational biomedical research. Dr. Kaliamurthi actively contributes to the scientific publishing community as a Guest Editor for journals published by Bentham Science, Frontiers Media, and Elsevier. She also serves as an Expert Member on program committees of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a Reviewer for more than twelve international journals, and an Advisory Board Member for the immunology section of Heliyon. In addition, she serves as an Associate Editorial Member for Scientific Reports (Nature family).She has been honored as a Distinguished Adjunct Faculty Member at Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences (SIMATS) and AMET University. Dr. Kaliamurthi received the Concordia University Conference and Exposition Award twice, in 2022 and 2023, in recognition of her work on peptide vaccine design for COVID-19 and its lineages. With over eight years of postdoctoral research experience and as a Research Associate gained across multiple countries, she has been honored with several prestigious international fellowships and grants, including the TÜBİTAK 2216 International Fellowship for Researchers in TURKEY, the Henan Province Postdoctoral Science Foundation in CHINA, the Mitacs Globalink Research Fellowship in CANADA, and the Horizon Postdoctoral Fellowship in CANADA. Dr. Kaliamurthi has authored more than 100 research and review articles, with over 2,999 citations (i10 index 63) in reputed international journals, including the Journal of Nanobiotechnology, Current Pharmaceutical Design, International Journal of Molecular Sciences, ACS Publications journals, and Viruses. She has presented and shared her expertise at 23 international conferences, including the International Society for Vaccines Annual Congress 2022 in Canada and DeMon in France. In addition, she completed a 35-hour graduate course in University Teaching at Concordia University. Across all her professional roles, she remains committed to sharing her expertise through publications, book chapters, conference presentations, and collaborative research initiatives.
